Teaching & Training:

1. One senior resident is under training in the department of Urology.
2. Junior residents from surgery department also had urology training during this year. They are provided exposure in Endo-urological procedures to improve their surgical skills. Regular seminars and journal reviews are carried out in the department of urology. Excellent training facilities are provided to the senior and junior residents in Endo-urological procedures as state of the art Endo-vision system has been installed in urology OT.
3. Regular training is provided to the operation theatre staff and nursing students.

Research:

1. Contemporary role of S. PSA in diseases of prostate.
2. Comparison between CT scan and cystoscopy findings of bladder involvement in patients of carcinoma cervix in view of revised Figo staging.
3. Lesions of urinary bladder- A histopathological and cytological (liquid based cytology) study of 100 cases.
